LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A blown transformer off campus has caused the University of Louisville to cancel all classes at Belknap Campus for the remainder of Wednesday, Oct. 10.
Via Twitter, the university reported a transformer issue at 3rd and Oak Streets caused the power outage. LG&E gave an estimated time of repair of 5 p.m. and classes scheduled to start after that time were initially up in the air.
Around 4 p.m., evening classes on the Belknap Campus were canceled, as well.
Some power has been restored to buildings on UofL’s campus, but the problem is not entirely fixed as of 4:45 p.m.
