Quite the rainy period later today/tonight. Some amounts could exceed 1″. More on the WAVE 3 Weather App regarding that setup.
As far as the wintry side of things....not much to discuss. For now....
1/12-13 Rain to brief snow setup
1/16-17 Rain to snow setup
There remains strong support for average to above average temperatures for the next 7-10 days. There will be a cold shot a day or two in that range but more of the warmer days expected. This means most of our precipitation events will be rain as well. The one for NEXT weekend could develop a bit more on the interesting side but for now...sticking to a mostly rain event.
The video is a juicy one today as new data rolled in that gives stronger support to a “flip” to a much colder and active winter pattern as we enter the last 10 days of January and move into February. In fact, most of February could end up being the “core” of winter this season.
Will we get tons of snow? I don’t know that. No one does. But if you are a BOTS' fan, you have to like the cards you have in your hand right now.
This will take some time to develop so keep the patience going ;)
