All of the suspects are from the Louisville area.

LONDON, KY (WAVE) - Three people from the Louisville area have been arrested in a drug bust in Laurel County.

The arrests, which were made January 9 about 10 miles south of London, came as part of an investigation by the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office and the DEA London office about a large amount of crystal meth that was headed to the area.

When authorities stopped a Cadillac Escalade they found more than two pounds of crystal meth inside.

The three arrested - James L. Coulter, 39, of Louisville; Robert A. Thornsberry, 40, of Shepherdsville, and Stephaine J. Richard, 32, of Lebanon Junction - are each charged with possession with intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine.

The suspects were booked into the Laurel County Detention Center. The Cadillac Escalade was seized.
