(Courtesy: UofL Athletics) LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Asia Durr scored 21 points as No. 2 University of Louisville women’s basketball rolled past Georgia Tech, 61-44, at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals improved to 15-1 on the year and 3-1 in ACC play, while the Yellow Jackets dropped to 12-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Louisville opened the game by scoring the first 10 points and jumped out to an early 15-2 lead. Durr led the charge early with two three-pointers and finished the quarter with 10 points to help give the Cardinals a 24-14 advantage. Louisville outscored the Yellow Jackets by seven points the rest of the way and cruised to a 61-44 win. Durr had 21 points on 8-16 shooting, including 3-8 from 3-point range. She added five rebounds and four assists. Sam Fuehring finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds for her second double-double of the season and the sixth of her career, while Arica Carter added 10 points, four rebounds and three assists. The Cardinals' defense controlled the game, holding the Yellow Jackets to a season-low 26.2 percent shooting, while forcing 21 Georgia Tech turnovers. Louisville scored 23 points off turnovers, 12 of which came in the first quarter. Next up, the Cardinals host Virginia on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. ET.
