TUESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE FROM CHRISTIE DUTTON- Light snow off and on is possible for the afternoon and evening. Only light additional accumulations expected on top of what we already have in the next 24 hours. Louisville has 5"-7" accumulations with more in Southern Indiana and less in South Central KY. The winds will pick up late this afternoon and evening as colder air moves in. This colder air could refreeze the melted snow on roads for the evening rush hour, so beware of icy roads. The winds will likely cause snow drifts and blowing snow tonight and tomorrow morning, along with wind chill temperatures near zero by early morning tomorrow. Light snow showers or flurries expected tomorrow with little to no additional accumulation.
