Amber Alert Canceled; Girl located

OWENSBORO, KY (WAVE) - A Kentucky teenager went missing from her home Saturday, and was located Sunday in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Thirteen-year-old Haley Willett was last seen at her home at 4:30 Saturday morning, just two hours after she got a text message from a 43-year-old man whom her mother said had a crush on her young daughter.

Her mother told our sister station WFIE they were staying with 43-year-old Archie Whalen recently in Maine. That's when she said Whalen developed a crush on Haley and said he wanted to marry her. 

Haley's mom, Tammy Ward, said, "but when he was telling my daughter these things, I felt like that was a situation she shouldn't be in. I just hope she's ok."

Haley was located with the man in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, he has been taking into custody.
