WAVE 3 TV Louisville, KY | Overturned semi closes I-71 South at Sligo

SLIGO, KY (WAVE) - The southbound lanes of I-71 remain closed this morning after a tractor-trailer overturned just after 5 a.m. at the 24 mile marker in Oldham County.
Southbound traffic is being diverted to the Campbellsburg exit at mile marker 34. to Hwy. 42 in Bedford. From there, motorists can follow Hwy. 42 to Prospect to the Gene Snyder Freeway.
No word yet on whether there were any injuries in the crash.
It took several hours to clear the scene.
