LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - There's a new way to see Christmas lights this year.  It's designed to be fun for the whole family and it's completely underground. Starting November 21st, the Mega Caverns will add mega decorations.

Lights Under Louisville will feature 35 displays. There will be 300 LED light characters with more than 1,000,000 points of light.

Customers will be able to drive through the caverns in their own car for the first time to see  the lights.

"You'll be driving over one mile through the caverns to see this light show," said co-owner Jim Lowry. "It will take about 30 to 45 minutes. It will just absolutely blow you away."

They are also using this as a fundraiser. Non-profits can go online and print out a special flier.  Anyone who comes to the Mega Caverns Monday through Thursday nights with your group's flyer will get $3 donated to his/her organization.

Lights Under Louisville runs from November 21st through January 3rd. The cost is $20 per car and $35 per commercial van.
