DYERSBURG, TN (AP) - A small earthquake has shaken part of West Tennessee. The U.S. Geological Survey's initial report said a quake with a magnitude of 3.3 shook the area around Dyersburg early Friday. The report said the epicenter was three miles north of Dyersburg and the time it occurred was 12:39 a.m. A dispatcher with the Dyersburg city police said the dispatch center received several calls from city residents who asked if there had been a quake. There were no immediate reports of damage. The area is in the New Madrid Seismic Zone, which parallels the Mississippi River from the Missouri Bootheel to Marked Tree, Ark.
