LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Florida newspaper is reporting that outgoing director of Metro Animal Services is a finalist for a similar position in the Sunshine state.
According to Florida Today, Gilles Meloche is one of five people being considered for the job of director of Brevard County Animal Services and Enforcement. The department has been operating without a permanent director since February 2009.
The Brevard County Commission is expected to name a new director Tuesday.
