Metro Council makes compromise to keep Louisville food trucks rolling

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE (WAVE) - Good news for all of you who love to buy food from those Louisville food trucks, there is something in the works to keep them serving.

Matthew Davis, owner of Lil' Cheezers, says he met with the Metro Council on Friday. They are working on changing some regulations.

Rather than a vendor ID for everyone, which would require a background check for every person who works in the truck, they will only need one vendor ID per truck.

Truck vendors thought the original changes would force them to park the trucks because of how much it would cost to get up to code.
