E-Town Man Indicted On Child Porn Charges

(ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky., November 2nd, 2004, 10 a.m.) -- An Elizabethtown man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on several counts of child pornography.

Forty-six-year-old Gerald Moreman is accused of distributing child pornography by computer on four separate occasions in 2003 and 2004. The charges say the material involved a minor under the age of 12 and portrayed (what was termed) "sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence."

The indictment alleges Moreman distributed between ten and 150 pornographic images of a child on each of the four occasions. He's scheduled for arraignment November 16th in Louisville.

If convicted, he faces anywhere from five to 80 years in prison, a one (m) million dollar fine and supervised release for three years.
