(LOUISVILLE) -- The Kentucky Department of Agriculture is trying to determine the source of a deadly horse virus at Churchill Downs.
Two horses were put down and another hundred quarantined after an outbreak of equine herpes.
The virus can affect the respiratory and nervous systems.
The horses will be quarantined for about a month. Oaks winner Summerly and derby contender Don't Get Nad are among the horses quarantined.
