LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Lebanon Junction man facing charges for stealing money from a youth football league has been arrested again - this time for drugs.

Brian Wibbles, 33, is now charged with criminal conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. Police say they stopped Wibbles on Interstate 65 on Thursday, several miles south of Shepherdsville, for improper tags on his vehicles.

During the traffic stop, officers say they found several chemicals used to make meth - including ammonia nitrate.

His passenger, 24-year-old Jennifer Ashbaugh, was also arrested for conspiracy to manufacture meth.

"Some of those chemicals, when you put them all together, you only use them for one purpose," said Bullitt County Task Force Director Kenny Hardin.

Police say there were two other busts in Bullitt County between Tuesday and Thursday involving active meth labs.  Seven people were arrested.
