(MADISON, Ind.) -- Jefferson County, Indiana, prosecutor Chris Naylor says it will be at least a week before they determine if they'll file charges against a teenage driver whose car plowed through a crowd at a speedboat race in Madison.
Madison Police Chief Bob Wolf says they are waiting for blood tests to determine if 18-year-old Michael Bowen was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash Sunday.
Blood samples were sent to the Indiana State Police laboratory earlier this week.
Bowen was treated at University Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, but a hospital spokeswoman said he was not a patient there today.
Two bystanders who were struck by the car remain hospitalized in serious condition. A 14-year-old girl was released yesterday.
