(Louisville, KY WAVE) Fern Creek earned it's first Boys' LIT championship as the TIgers defeated Trinity 65 -58 in overtime on Saturday night at Valley HIgh School. Anthony Wales scored 16 points and Tony Rogers chipped in with 11 for the victorious Tigers. Fern Creek's A.J. (AP) - Malik Monk scored 24 points, helping No. 6 Kentucky beat Auburn 92-72 on Saturday for its fifth straight win.      The balanced Wildcats (15-2, 5-0 Southeastern Conference) shot 57 percent from the field and placed five players in double figures.
