In early February we passed the cash to a couple in southwest Louisville facing bad health, big bills and a list of problems too big for them to fix. Just one week later, people from all over the community came together to make sure Bonnie and David have a warm house, a new car and sense of peace.

Pass the Cash: Single mom gets help from co-worker

Alyssa is a single mom with a daughter and several other family members depending on her. With everything she's been through, her co-worker knew she needed some extra cash. Making a difference in this world may seem like an enormous task, but if we do what we can it all adds up. It's the collective effort of lots of folks in WAVE Country making small contributions with a lot of heart that makes the most change. We do it every week when we Pass the Cash.
