The Bardstown camera is located overlooking historic courthouse square. Pointing to the east, the camera captures the historic Nelson County Courthouse and square. The camera can also show weather conditions and the western sky down Stephen Foster Avenue. The camera is located atop of what is commonly referred to as the “Old Library”. The building first served as the Bardstown post office from 1914 until the 1960’s. The Nelson County Public Library called the building home from 1970 until 2005. Currently owned by Nelson County, the first floor of the two story building houses the gallery for Fine Arts Bardstown Society.
