LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Henry County man was killed Monday morning in a crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate 71. It happened around 10 a.m. at mile marker 13, near the Jefferson-Oldham County line.
According to Oldham County Police, a car hauler carrying two cars crashed into a rock wall. The victim has been identified as the driver of the car hauler, 69-year-old Donald C. Moore of Campbellsburg. Moore died from multiple blunt force injuries.
The southbound lanes near the crash were closed for several hours while police cleared the scene but had reopened by 1 p.m.
