CINCINNATI (AP) - The Cincinnati Bengals' top three running backs are moving much better after a 4-day break.
The Bengals had their bye weekend, a chance to rest and get ready for back-to-back games that will go a long way toward deciding the AFC North title.
The Bengals are tied with Pittsburgh for first place at 5-2, with Baltimore a game back at 4-3. The Ravens come to Cincinnati next weekend, and the Bengals go to Pittsburgh the following Sunday. If the Bengals win both games, they'd be in control of the division.
Running backs Cedric Benson, Bernard Scott and Jeremi Johnson were moving much better on Monday. Scott and Johnson have knee injuries, and Benson is beat up after carrying 164 times, second-most in the NFL.
