MAYSVILLE, KY (AP) - A fire has gutted a former tobacco warehouse in northern Kentucky. The Ledger-Independent reports that firefighters were called to the blaze in Maysville about 5 a.m. Friday morning. The newspaper reports the brick building was still smoldering four hours later. The structure dates back to the 1920s. Maysville Mayor David Cartmell says the warehouse hasn't been used for three years. It used to be owned by American Tobacco and Parker Tobacco and was last used as a tobacco receiving station. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
