LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A south-central Kentucky six-year-old is in a Louisville hospital recovering from extensive surgery after being attacked by a pit bull.
Elisa Fannin was at a neighbor's home in Bowling Green Monday night when the attack happened. The girl's grandmother says the dog took a chuck out of her face, jaw and lip.
Late Tuesday, Kosair Children's Hospital said that Elisa is listed in fair condition. The dog is quarantined at the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society.
