LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A University of Louisville football player had plead guilty to a reduced charge of harassment with physical contact.
Senior cornerback Johnny Patrick had faced a fourth degree misdemeanor assault charge stemming from an incident on June 27 with his girlfriend. By pleading guilty to the reduced charge, Patrick will enter a diversion program and attend counseling.
Patrick returns to court in January 2011. At that time, the judge will have the option of dismissing the case.
