WAVE 3 TV Louisville, KY | Council dismissed from UofL team after arrest

Rod CouncilLOUISVILLE (WAVE) -- University of Louisville starting defensive back Rod Council has been kicked off of the team after being arrested Wednesday morning.
Council was arrested after he allegedly robbed a gas station in North Carolina. A small amount of marijuana was found in his car.
Council would have been a senior for the Cards in 2008. He had 32 tackles and two interceptions in 2007.
