LOUISVILLE, KY (AP) - Churchill Downs is promising faster-moving lines for race fans waiting to get their favorite beverages at its next night of racing.
Churchill drew more than 28,000 for the debut of night racing last Friday at the Louisville track.
Mindful of fans who were frustrated by the lines Friday night, Churchill is promising to double the number of beverage stations and triple its staffing at the stations for the next night racing event.
The track's second night of racing is set for this coming Friday.
The track will also have roving beer vendors moving through the crowd that night.
