LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The outlook for Otter Creek Park is looking better. Monday, Metro Parks said it received five bids, all proposals for the future of the park.
In January, the Louisville Metro Government closed the park to save money. Now, the 2,000-acre park in Meade County may get a new life with the help of one of these bidders:
- YMCA of Greater Louisville
- Kentucky Resorts, LLC
- Spirit of the Sewanee
- Otter Creek Park Services Corporation
- Blue Phoenix Properties
A spokesperson with Metro Parks said the proposals will be under review for at least a month before any decisions will be made.
