LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A southern Indiana woman has died two weeks after being shot and upgraded charges are on the way for the crime. According to Jeffersonville Police, 30-year-old Shannon Howard died Monday at University Hospital.

Howard was the second victim in a double shooting on August 25 outside of a family member's home in the 200 block of Walnut Street. Howard's ex-husband, Larry Morrow, died at the scene after he was shot in the mouth.

"Now we have a second homicide and it's a larger crime, you've got now two victims out of one incident," said Det. Todd Hollis of the Jeffersonville Police Department.

No arrests have been made in the case, but police say they are looking for three people, two men and one woman, who are believed to be inside a vehicle connected to the crime. Jeff Police are not releasing a description of that vehicle, but they say one of those individuals is believed to be shooter.
