LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Changes could be coming to some downtown streets. The Downtown Development Corporation studied which one-way streets would benefit from becoming two-way streets.

The study proposes parts of Main Street, Liberty Street, Muhammad Ali Blvd., Chestnut Street, Second Street and Third Street all make the change. Residents were able to ask questions and give their thoughts on the plan during an information session Monday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

We want to increase downtown's mobility we want to look at the accessibility of businesses at ground level, retail likes two way streets, said Patti Clare of the Downtown Development Corporation.

The project will be presented to the Louisville Metro Council. If approved, you could see changes by late 2010.
