LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Norton Healthcare have settled a dispute and agreed to a three-year contract.
A joint statement from the two companies release Monday says the contract restores in-network access for Anthem policy holders to North facilities and providers.
Norton left Anthem's network July 1 over the dispute.
Since then, both companies had made an exception for Kosair Children's Hospital, the only pediatric hospital in the region.
Negotiations had been ongoing for several weeks. No specific details were released, per the contract.
The new agreement covers Norton Healthcare's five hospitals and related services, including Kosair Children's Hospital.
