LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Local Ford workers haven't started voting on a new contract deal, but another plant has overwhelmingly rejected the latest round of concessions.
More than 92% of UAW workers at Ford's Kansas City-area plant voted no.
The plan calls for a six-year ban on strikes involving wages and benefits and freezes the pay of new employees. Union leaders from Ford plants around the country approved the tentative agreement earlier this month.
Louisville Ford workers start voting Wednesday afternoon.
