LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Traffic is flowing again on southbound Interstate 65 in southern Indiana after an overturned semi closed the interstate for over three hours.
The semi overturned around 5:40 p.m. at the rest area near the Clark County/Scout County line. Video from Air 3 showed the trailer of the semi across both southbound lanes. The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. What the rig was carrying has not been released.
Crews worked for several hours to clear the trailer from the roadway. Indiana State Police reopened the interstate around 9 p.m.
