2 killed in crashes in Kentuckiana Saturday

LOUSIVILLE, KY (WAVE) - It was a deadly Saturday in Kentuckiana. Two men were killed in separate crashes.

The first happened near Georgetown, IN, just over the Harrison County line.

James Crumpton, Jr., 64 of Louisville, died just after 1:30 on State Road 64.

Indiana State Police said Crumpton's motorcycle was hit by another car that was waiting to turn and was rear ended, pushing it into Crumpton.

State police said no one was charged in the crash.

Meanwhile, Kentucky State Police worked a deadly crash in Hardin County around 8:30 Saturday night.

They said a truck struck an SUV.  The SUV overturned and the driver Thomas Langley, 30 of Vine Grove, was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

State police said the other driver, Michael Brunello, 24 of Rineyville, was arrested shortly after the crash and charged with leaving the scene of a crash and driving under the influence.
