Suspect in Indiana bar shooting surrenders to police

CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - The man suspected in a Clark County bar shooting has surrendered to police.  Brandon Joseph Banet, 26, turned himself into authorities and was booked into jail shortly after 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Banet is charged with attempted murder and is being held without bond.  The victim, Andrew Burnett of Depauw, In. is still at University Hospital in fair condition.

The shooting happened at the Hoosier Hills Golf Course and Bar near Borden, Ind.  Police say the two men were kicked out of the bar after an argument over a girl.  That's when police say Banet pulled out a gun in the parking lot and shot Burnett man twice.
