Purdue freshman's death ruled accidental

FISHERS, IN (AP) – The death of a missing Purdue University freshman has been ruled an accident.

19-year-old Patrick Trainor was found on March 24, along with his car, in a retention pond in about 10 feet of water. The discovery ended a four-day search, after Trainor was reported missing.

A coroner says Trainor's blood-alcohol content was 0.19 at the time of his death. Indiana's legal driving limit is 0.08.

Police say their investigation in ongoing, and Trainor's family has declined to comment.
