New bride arrested after bar fight

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville woman ended up in jail just hours after her wedding over the weekend.

Police say 28-year-old Nicole Emerson got into an argument at O'Shea's Irish Pub on Second and Main Saturday night. She's accused of then hitting a two people over the head, in the eye and face with a beer bottle.

Witnesses say Emerson was still in her wedding dress at the bar.

A police report says two people were taken to the hospital with serious physical injuries.
