Senate GOP candidate answers questions on lobbying record in Indiana

SEYMOUR, IN (WAVE) - Republican nominee for U.S. Senate Dan Coats is traveling in southern Indiana.  He will make two stops in both Columbus and Seymour.

On Saturday Coats released more than 800 pages of lobbying records on his website to answer questions about his past and after pressure from Democrats.  Democrats have linked Coats with Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, Yemen, and BP.  Coats denies working for any of those groups and calls the charges "offensive" and "ludicrous."

WAVE 3 News will be speaking with Coats later today and bring you more on and starting tonight at 5 p.m.
