CORYDON, IN (WAVE) - Harrison County Surveyor Thomas Bube died Saturday morning, a day after he was rushed to a hospital after being found unconscious and unresponsive at his desk.
The Floyd County Coroner tells WAVE 3 Bube died at 5:17 a.m. Saturday morning. The coroner says he had cardiac issues and an autopsy will not be performed. Bube was initially taken to Harrison County Hospital, but was transferred to Floyd Memorial Hospital.
A U.S. Postal Service letter carrier discovered him unconscious and unresponsive in his office on June 25.
Bube, 70, was in the middle of his third term as surveyor in the Southern Indiana county, having first been elected in 2000.
