LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Jefferson County School Board released its annual evaluation for JCPS Superintendent Dr. Sheldon Berman Friday.

The four-page document commends Dr. Berman for his "unwavering focus on improving school cultures, enhancing classroom instruction, embracing innovation in education and promoting polices that support real student growth."

Still the School Board described its job moving forward as one "to analyze if the work taking place is achieving the desired outcomes."

Berman says the review was "constructive" and that he is "pleased with the evaluation" and appreciates the commendations.
