LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police are looking for suspects after two men were shot and killed in the city's west end late Wednesday night.

Officers responding to a shooting in the 1100 block of S. 28th Street around 11:35 p.m. found two men with gunshot wounds.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.  One man lived at the home, and was outside in his wheelchair when he was killed.

Police don't have a suspect or a motive at this time, but hope that will change.  LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell says, "We're hoping that with the large crowd that's out here that someone has seen something that could possibly give us some clues about the person or persons that committed the crime."

A crowd of people had gathered outside the home when gunfire erupted and the victims were shot.

Police say the two victims were black males in their early 30s. No word yet on their identity.

Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD crime tipline at 574-LMPD (574-5673).
