LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - After being closed for safety concerns nearly two years ago, Harrods Creek Bridge is set to open on Monday.
A ribbon cutting is planned for Monday afternoon. The bridge was shut down back in November of 2008 because of safety concerns.
The closure of the bridge has been causing traffic nightmare for those that live nearby.
The original historical superstructure of the bridge is still left intact. The project cost $3 million.
