CINCINNATI (AP) - An Ohio prosecutor has said two men and a woman have been indicted on charges of robbing at least 26 people of thousands of dollars won at Indiana casinos.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters in Cincinnati said Thursday that the three were arrested in an undercover operation that began Wednesday night at the Hollywood Casino in nearby Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Deters says an officer posed as a "vulnerable" casino winner using a walker and that the suspects were arrested after following and robbing him.
Deters says the suspects are accused of robbing victims at gunpoint after following them to their homes or hotels, most in Ohio.
He says authorities first noticed a pattern to robberies at Hollywood and other Indiana casinos in February.
