Trial date set in pedophile trafficking case

COVINGTON, KY (AP) - A convicted child molester who allegedly sold the boy he sodomized to another pedophile will go on trial Jan 19.

Thirty-nine-year-old Bobby Jo Perry II of Elsmere will be tried along with Lance Antonio Presswood, 42, of Cincinnati. Presswood is charged with first-degree sodomy.

Perry faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty in Kenton Circuit Court.

A jury found Perry guilty Wednesday of one count of first-degree sodomy, with the jury recommending a 45-year sentence. Kenton Circuit Judge Gregory Bartlett will sentence Perry on that conviction Nov. 8.

Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Stephanie Kastner claims Perry accepted money from Presswood in exchange for allowing that man to also sodomize the boy, now 16, says a report in The Kentucky Enquirer.
