Memorial service set for UK hockey player killed in crash

LEXINGTON, KY (AP) - The public is invited to memorial service for a senior forward on the University of Kentucky's men's ice hockey team who died in an auto accident.

The memorial service for Taylor Vit of Villanova, PA, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT Monday in Memorial Hall on the UK campus.

The hockey team is hosting the service for the 22-year-old Vit, who died after the SUV he was driving hit a Lexington city bus Oct. 10.

Vit was an assistant captain of the UK hockey team and the team's leading scorer.
