3 Louisville residents involved in Indiana crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two Louisville residents are recovering in the hospital and another is behind bars following an early morning crash in Bartholomew County, Indiana.

Troopers said the driver, 33-year-old Shonte Hooten, had a tire problem and lost control, then slammed into a guardrail. Police later discovered the Hooten had a blood alcohol level higher than the legal limit. Hooten is charged with driving under the influence.

The two other people in the car, 17-year-old Shanea Ealy is at University Hospital with severe head trauma and 32-year-old James Miller has non-life threatening injuries.
