KY attorney general's office holds audit drawing

FRANKFORT, KY (AP) - The Kentucky attorney general's office will determine which counties will receive post-election audits.

The counties are determined in a public drawing, and that will be held Tuesday afternoon at the attorney general's office in Frankfort.

Under state law, the audits are to be conducted in at least 5 percent of the counties in the state after each primary and general election.

The audits are used to determine whether any irregularities may have occurred in the election process.
