American Printing House for the blind opened its doors

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The American Printing House for the blind opened its doors to everyone for an open house Saturday.

Visitors got to try a braille fortune cookie and see part of Helen Keller's Bible.

Other exhibits showed people how to write their names in braille and watch a video about how a puppy becomes a guide dog.

The printing house publishes textbooks and magazines in braille and is the oldest organization of its kind in the U.S.
