Stepmom of 2 kids missing from AL arrested

MOBILE, AL (AP) - Police say the stepmother of two siblings who were last seen in Mobile in July has been arrested in Kentucky.

Mobile police spokesman Christopher Levy says 22-year-old Heather Leavell-Keaton was arrested on Wednesday in Louisville. Levy says Leavell-Keaton was charged Tuesday by Mobile authorities with willful child abuse stemming from incidents when the children were living in Mobile with her and their father, John Deblase, who has not been located.

Levy says the case is being treated as a missing children's case.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children posted online pictures of Natalie and Jonathan on Tuesday, listed them as "endangered missing."
