ANDERSON, IN (AP) - Police have arrested three teenagers on preliminary charges of murder in the shooting deaths of a central Indiana couple.
Anderson police Sgt. William Casey says one of the teens confessed to the crime Tuesday and implicated the other two who were charged. Casey tells The Herald Bulletin that police have the murder weapon and other evidence connecting each teen to the killings.
All three - ages 18, 16 and 15 - were jailed on two counts of murder. The arrests came just hours after more than 200 people attended the funeral for 24-year-old Keya Prince and her boyfriend 25-year-old Stephen Streeter.
They were found dead in Prince's Anderson home on Nov. 29.
The teens are also charged with robbery, but police didn't immediately give a motive for the shootings.
