Victim of Highway 245 crash identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a head-on crash in Bullitt County that has left a Nelson County woman dead.

Police were called to Highway 245 near the Bullitt-Nelson County line at 5:04 p.m. on Dec. 14.

According to Morris Profitt, Bullitt County deputy coroner, the driver of one of the cars, 27-year-old Brooklyn Hartman of Bardstown, died at the scene from injuries she sustained in the crash. The driver of the other car was taken to University Hospital for treatment. The name of that person has not been released.

The KSP Accident Reconstruction Team has been called in to investigate the crash.
