Louisville native receives Oscar nomination

BEVERLY HILLS, CA (AP) - The 83rd annual Academy Award nominations for lead actress in a motion picture have been announced in Beverly Hills, Calif., by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and one of the nominees is Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence.

The category's nominees announced Tuesday morning are: Annette Bening, "The Kids Are All Right"; Nicole Kidman, "Rabbit Hole"; Jennifer Lawrence, "Winter's Bone'"'; Natalie Portman, "Black Swan"; Michelle Williams, "Blue Valentine."

The Oscars will be presented Feb. 27 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco.
